
Welcome to the AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers and Clinical/Pre-Health Students with The CPR Hero BLS Course Instructors under UCLA Alpha Epsilon Delta!
This course is located at Kerckhoff Hall, Room 215, UCLA Campus for pre-health students or BLS Healthcare providers for the dates and times specified.
You may sign up for the time slot that is available with remaining seats for the specified time interval.
Please pay careful attention to class location, sign-up time, and please purchase only 1 course per 1 student registration (do not add more than 1 quantity during checkout).
Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
This class is designed for students interested in a healthcare field, and/or renewing healthcare providers. Course topics will include Adult & Pediatric 1-Person, 2-Person CPR/AED, Choking, and team dynamics. Students are expected to review and prepare prior to the course and purchase an e-book. Instructors will monitor, remediate, and pass or fail students based on a performance criteria and written pass of 84% on the exam.
